Then you (anyone and everyone) can post a comment with a link to something span style=”font-style: italic;”you’ve/span made. It could be an original design or something from a pattern span style=”font-weight: bold;”as long as you made it yourself/span. It could be a dress, a vase, a necklace…whatever!br /br /1.) Leave a comment with a link to a specific blog post (because that will help us find your project, especially if it’s been a while) OR to a photo in Flickr or similar photo album site OR to a specific item in your shop.br /br /2.) Please try to include some info about this item in the comment: why you made, for whom you made it, etc.br /br /3.) Comments close late Thursday night 11:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time. (PDT)br /br /On Fridays, I’ll enter all the commenters’ names in a random drawing and the winner gets a prize! A span style=”font-style: italic;”surprise/span prize because I have not come up with it yet. (Hee) Nothing huge – sorry, no Geo Metros or trips to Honolulu – but probably something small but good. I’ll make the announcement on this blog in the afternoon. If you’ve won please email me with your mailing address.br /br /Let’s see how it goes. Maybe this will become a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly event depending on the response. I figure, blogging is about interaction and community and I wold love to see what crafty things you all are creating.br /br /Some of you have seen this dress (above) before – sorry, I’m not sure I have anything right now that I have span style=”font-style: italic;”not/span shown you. But next week I’ll have something new.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”"I Made It” Monday/span officially starts right now!br /br /span style=”font-style: italic;”span style=”color: rgb(255, 0, 0);”Editor’s note: this post has been updated to clarify the rules for this drawing./span/span

I too have been a lurking person, but finally started my own blog. I have been reading your blog since you were living in S.F. and I love the cute little place you have moved to. I love to sew and do embroidery. I do have sewing project I just finished for my daughter that I posted on my blog. It is the green and white Ana Sui blouse. Check it out if you would like.

Lovely idea – I made these little place setting boxes (including the little drawing on them) – and of course the cupcakes – but they were from the box ;) BR/BR/http://afieldjournal.blogspot.com/2008/02/twenty.html

Sorry, I posted the wrong url in the previous comment.BR/BR/I made some juicy grapefruit soap! I love making soaps and originally began making them as an alternative to commercial soap which broke me out and dried out my skin. I now make them to sell as well for others that have experienced problems with commerical soaps and for those who love scents! My grapefruit soap is a much requested scent and it has real sugar in it to give a little scrub in the tub.BR/A HREF=”http://soapdelinews.com/2008/04/08/summertime-scents–grapefruit.aspx” REL=”nofollow”http://soapdelinews.com/2008/04/08/summertime-scents–grapefruit.aspx/A

I’ve been lurking here long enough to recognize that dress from the original post. I sew and knit and one of the favorite things I’ve made is this patchwork pillow star: http://flickr.com/photos/kaiwa_4/329251581/in/set-72157601678076435/
