I nearly killed the basil as I had left it in it’s tiny came-with-it pot for so long but now that it’s more situated, it seems happy. (I do not trust this as my last Thai basil plant died.) I recently gave the thyme a trim since it was looking a little like it had Donald Trump’s hair. Generally speaking though, I leave them be, alone by the sunny window.br /br /We’ve been having ants lately and I noticed a few milling the thyme. So I took a gander:br /br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_M5dKBd5_Vfk/SHuFrNSe9bI/AAAAAAAAATo/spuM-J2eR2k/s1600-h/plant-mushrooms.jpg”img style=”margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;” src=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_M5dKBd5_Vfk/SHuFrNSe9bI/AAAAAAAAATo/spuM-J2eR2k/s400/plant-mushrooms.jpg” alt=”" id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5222915170214278578″ border=”0″ //aMushrooms! Ack, I could hardly believe it. I have been hoping they’d spring up in one of my terrariums but I didn’t expect to find them in here. Perhaps it’s all the muggy weather we’ve been having.br /br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_M5dKBd5_Vfk/SHuG9d8C-RI/AAAAAAAAATw/6g_-P9Mew9A/s1600-h/mushroom-detail.jpg”img style=”margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_M5dKBd5_Vfk/SHuG9d8C-RI/AAAAAAAAATw/6g_-P9Mew9A/s400/mushroom-detail.jpg” alt=”" id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5222916583432845586″ border=”0″ //aI feel like I’ve been invaded by some mischievous faeries.

Those mushrooms are a bit odd aren’t they?! I’m so bad with plant, and leaving them in the original post is something I always do and should break the habit!!BR/BR/P.S. I have given you an award; you are one of my favorite blog reads! See my Monday post.
too funny!
OMG! Those things are so hard to get rid of. I have a bleeding heart vine that keeps growing them after i’ve done 3 soil changes and sprayed the roots with fungicide and cleaned out the pot it was in. The plant was living inside my house because I have an indoor atrium that I keep alot of plants in. I finally chunked the plant out onto the back porch to die in the Texas sun. I don’t know what kind of mushrooms those are but they are very hard to get rid of and I think that some plants you buy are just innate carriers of the fungus.
