Amanita

Amanita, 8×10″ hand-drawn and painted digital portrait
My holiday weekend consisted of stalking Tim Robbins (Ok, not really stalking, but my husband and I did have to drive around the block twice to see if it was really him), eating a to-die-for mushroom salad and imbibing the “Dozen Roses” cocktail (with real rose water and watermelon) at Fraiche, hunting down the Drapers’ residence in Pasadena (Ok, so this is kind of like stalking, a little) and finishing up this painting, “Amanita.” Now I’m just trying to decide on the paper for prints.
I’ll add more info about this piece in another post. But I’m just tickled pink that I’m getting some painting done, it’s been so long since I released a print. Anyway, I just wanted to share it with you!

oh! she’s very pretty
she has great style too;)
Very pretty portrait! The dozen roses cocktail sounds divine!!!
She makes me think of American late 18th and early 19th century folk portraits. Very cool!
This is incredible. I hope you make prints that I can buy!
So pretty portrait !
Well…was it him and did you find their house?
Just beautiful Jen! Her blue ribbon is my favorite part<3
She sure has gorgeous eyes, and her ribbon made an impression on me, too. I once saw Tim Robbins crossing the street with Sean Penn. They made a funny pair – one tall, the other not-so-much.
you are all so sweet, thank you!
and YES, i’m positive it was tim robbins and yes i did find the draper house -arden rd? or something like that. it didn’t have the same feeling as it does on tv – ah, the magic of hollywood! plus the real people that live there were having a b-day party so there were not-so-60s decorations all over!
