I’m Sorta Getting the Hang of…

…Illustrator. It’s kind of addictive actually. I’m often torn between doing more traditional, pencil drawn illustrations and computer/vector stuff. For a long time I had resisted computer-generated art but I can’t seem to pull myself away. So, why can’t I do both?
Winter has really only begun and I’m thinking of spring, my favorite time in L.A. Maybe because we’ve had some lovely weather lately. Or maybe the recent foggy evenings led my mind to inky waters, sea monsters and such. Which made me think of the beach. WHICH made me think of summer and warm weather and sundresses. WHICH THEN led me to start planning my warm weather wardrobe, inspired by Summer Finn. (JUST saw that, if you can believe it. Loved every second and every stitch.) Oh, and a new pair of clog sandals. How’s that for stream of consciousness?

Love the illustration! ^_^ I have heard so much about 500 Days of Summer but I haven’t seen it yet, I must watch it.
You are so talented! I’m always amazed at how many creative things you can do! I think a lot of us are longing for Spring! It’s cold even here in Florida this week!
I don’t know if you saw the posts on did on her wardrobe but I’m excited to see what you come up with. The denim skirt I did a while ago definitely would fit with her style.
Oh yes… Illustrator is strangely addictive!
hehe! I haven’t played around with it in awhile–I should again! I love your illustration–so striking!
Springtime has been filling my imagination too.
I cannot wait to dive fully into the new season, but have to wait a bit longer (we actually had a dusting of snow here in FL this weekend!). *sigh*
That is the cutest silhouette ever!! Looks like you had fun with the illustrator:)
in regards to the flour I used for my pasta, I got it at Whole Foods. I just got back from the store and bought more! I’m making raviolis tonight, because I made a double batch of the dough yesterday.
You will be obsessed if you use it, I can’t wait to get in the kitchen to make more!
how fun!! i really want to learn illustrator.
I love the silhouette!
