Would Like Your Opinion About This…

I’m not sure how exactly this all started but I’m considering changing my shop name from “love, Liette” to “The Fabled Needle.”  So, it’s not a completely new change as I’ve been The Fabled Needle for over 5 years now but would require moving my shop (and blog) to that URL, for starters.  I think since my shop is still relatively small, any change like this should happen sooner than later.  It’s not like I’m the CEO of Starbucks and I want to change the company name to “Mr. Buzzacott’s Bean Roasting Emporium & Caffeinated Concoctions” because that would be nuts.

I guess I started to think more about the meaning of names, web-friendliness (is Liette hard to spell?) and relevancy (does The Fabled Needle only makes sense when it comes to sewn and knitted goods?)…and so forth.  This change, if it would happen, would not be the life or death of my little shop but it has been on my mind.

And since many of you have been with me since I began my adventures in Blogland and selling my art and goods, I figured you might have an opinion on this!  I created a poll to make this as easy as pie.  Feel free to leave a comment too for any other thoughts on this.

      After talking w/you, the fabled needle makes more sense to me (even though I voted for Love, Liette) because you seem to have more of a personal connection with it.

              Yeah I voted Love Liette, I love it and the pretty name sort of reflects your sweet drawings too. I think regardless of whatever name you decide to choose, we’d still be reading your blog anyway:) Good luck with the name change!
